Compassion in Action
At Love for Myanmar, we are committed to bringing God’s love and care to the people and youth of Myanmar. Our mission goes beyond providing material aid — we strive to offer hope and healing to those who need it most. In a country plagued by conflict, poverty, and oppression, we stand with the people, delivering vital resources and sharing the transformative power of the Gospel.
Serving Those in Need
Our work directly impacts the lives of the vulnerable in Myanmar:
- Equipping Church Leaders: We teach the Gospel and train local leaders to nurture believers and reach unreached communities.
- Healing from Trauma: We provide compassionate care for those who have experienced abandonment, abuse, persecution, and violence.
- Caring for Orphans: We offer food, shelter, and medical care for abandoned and orphaned children, ensuring they grow up in a safe, loving environment.
- Providing Education: Our learning centers offer children in need the opportunity to access education and the chance for a brighter future.
Our Heartbeat
Myanmar is a nation enduring immense suffering. Military oppression, economic collapse, and ongoing violence have left millions struggling. But even in the darkest times, the resilience and hope of the people shine through. Our purpose is to be there when they need us most, offering practical support, education, love, hope, and spiritual guidance to empower their journey forward.
Our History
What began in 2004 as a simple visit to Myanmar by Reed and Glenna Iwami has grown into a full-scale mission to uplift and transform lives across Myanmar. Over the years, our programs have expanded, touching countless lives through our team’s dedicated work and our donors’ generous support.
Our Team
Our ministry operates through a strong network of staff and volunteers in both the United States and Myanmar. We work together with a shared vision, driven by faith and compassion to make a lasting impact.
