Mu Nwe (name has been changed)

Three girls, three daughters, three sisters– close in ages, close in interests, close in relationships. She is the oldest at age seven.

There doesn’t seem to be any clear motive, just a situation where the combination of alcohol and emotion collided resulting in the mom’s death. The father had a reputation of occasionally getting drunk and losing control of his behavior. On this evening, his drunken actions led to the death of his wife and the mother to three daughters.

The father was convicted and sent to prison. The three girls were separated with two of them being brought to one of our homes.

Countless drinks consumed, defenseless life ended, priceless more lives damaged, faultless daughters separated. Senseless, yes. Hopeless, no.
