The speed of Truth
Love For Myanmar Ministries Update

“What a sad mistake we sometimes make when we think that God only cares about Christians.” Corrie Ten Boom
There are few challenges more difficult these days than struggling to live in Truth. So many are straining under the unsettling pressure of trusting fear. The fear of what might happen to us when we share the Truth in love. The fear of standing alone. The fear of not being able to eloquently express our beliefs. The fear of our own spiritual shallowness being exposed. The fear of having ourselves morph into compromising souls who have lost sight of the highest good.
So many have admirable intentions of addressing the countless variations of the truth which regularly surface across our televisions, computers, and phones. Instead of being the guiding lights showing the way towards God’s Truth, too many have hidden themselves pretending to be just another among the growing number of searchlights looking for answers. Christians have the answers! Rather than sharing the Truth which should be burning within every Christian, we choose to sit quietly living in the shadows convinced we have little to offer to counter the lies which relentlessly repress Christianity.
There is one solitary light between each Christian and God. Rather than sharing our lights to guide the spiritually lost, we are partitioning our lights among ourselves while drifting further apart from those who could most benefit. The lost shouldn’t have to chase that beam of Truth! Let’s remember that the light of God’s Truth travels at the speed of our surrender to Him.

When you come across a video, you may get a “video still processing” message which means your internet connection speed will dictate how long it takes to upload. Please be aware that periodically we may need to blur people’s faces to protect their identity.
The photos within this newsletter are from some of our 36 house churches. For security, we have blurred some of the faces. It is your donations which provide the Bibles, song books, guitars, communion supplies as well as the fuel for the motorbikes (and sometimes the motorbike itself), and the small “love gifts” to our colleagues and volunteers who brave the hostile environments to share the Gospel. Thank you!
Update on our Fellowship Coordinator
After 22 days of silence, the family of our Fellowship Coordinator who was arrested by junta authorities on September 1, has communicated with him. He was transferred to a jail in the capital of the region in which he lives. During the initial weeks of his imprisonment, he shared the Gospel with other inmates, and has requested Bibles for continuing to witness to interested prisoners. The price of one Burmese-language Bible is $12; to courageously share its messages is priceless!
