Their village was under an unexpected attack. Friends, neighbors, relatives were scrambling for the cover of the jungle; the same jungle which hid their enemy would hopefully now provide them with security.

While running for his life, this ten-year-old boy saw the horrors of war unfold around him. He emerged days later with other surviving villagers but, hasn’t spoken any word since that experience. Now, several months later, following visits by our concerned staff trained in trauma healing, he is gradually breaking his silence.
