Clashes erupt between military, KNPP in Kayah
Clashes erupted between the Tatmadaw (military) and fighters of the Karenni National Progressive Party (KNPP) in Kayah State on Saturday, according to an officer of the armed ethnic group. 

Khu Nye Reh, a KNPP internal affairs official, said the fighting occurred between Nan Kit village and Bahan Lok village in Hpasawng Township after Tatmadaw forces allegedly entered the group’s territory without notification.   Read More
